Notes
William's Parentage

William parentage is unproven. He is though by a number of people to be the son of William Sturch and Mary Ann Crutcher. They moved around a lot, so their children are hard to pin down, so it's possible, although he doesn't appear with the rest of the family in the 1851 census, (he could be on the road with his father). Also standard naming convention would suggest that William and Mary Ann should have a son called William as they had a daughter called Mary Ann.

1881 Census

William and Harriet have two nephews living with them; Charles Tanner, aged 7, born in Lambeth and John  Tanner aged 5, also born in Lambeth.
